A pre-packed bag of vegetables delivered each week.
Mostly greens, nature permitting, with a selection of traditional storage crops (beets, carrots, onions, etc).
(* Nature permitting note - we’ve offered this share for many years, and even in last year’s cold winter, greens were included in the shares each week.)
Shares are designed for two people, or one person who simply eats a lot of vegetables.
Example of weeks 1 & 2 from years past:
#1: Lettuce heads (smaller, x 3), Spinach (1/2 lb), Bok choi (1 lb), Garlic (1/2 lb), Carrots (1.5 lbs)
#2: Lettuce mix (1/2 lb), Spinach (1/2 lb), Tatsoi (1 bunch), Leeks (1 lb), Potatoes (3 lbs)
Our value added food and herbal products will be available to order online to add to your share each week. (soups, dinners-to-go, pesto, hummus and more).
Pick-up dates:
December 2, 9, 16, 23
OFF on December 30th
January 6, 13, 20, 27
Pick-up time & locations: Wednesdays
Please select your preferred pick-up location at checkout
Bowdoinham, at the farm, 3pm-7pm
Portland, Oxbow on Washington Ave. 4pm-7pm
If you've a location between Bowdoinham & Portland that would like to host a pick-up site, and have a minimum of 6 people interested, please be in touch!
Payment & Cost: Total share price. $230
$115 deposit required to reserve a space
Full payment due by December 1
NEW this year: There is an option to sign up for only December or January. We understand this option might suit some of you who travel. For our planning, a sign-up for both months is preferred.
