Winter CSA
Fresh greens with a rotation of the staple winter roots! Each week pick-up a share of vegetables that is designed for a two person household. Regular CSA members have reported the share size has worked well for singles with a vegetable based diet. Couples or families who eat a lot of vegetables might consider buying two shares.
Example of weeks 1 & 2 from 2023:
#1: Lettuce heads (smaller, x 3), Spinach (1/2 lb), Bok choi (1 lb), Garlic (1/2 lb), Carrots (1.5 lbs)
#2: Lettuce mix (1/2 lb), Spinach (1/2 lb), Tatsoi (1 bunch), Leeks (1 lb), Potatoes (3 lbs)
The seasonal hummus, pesto, and baked goods you've been enjoying all summer will be available too! Check out our Prepared pantry share for this add-on!
Pick-up dates:
December 4, 11, 18 (double sized share this week)
January 8, 15, 22, 29
Pick-up time & locations: Wednesdays
Bowdoinham, at the farm, 3pm-7pm
Portland, *will be confirmed - very likely: Oxbow on Washington Ave. 4pm-7pm
If you've a location between Bowdoinham & Portland that would like to host a pick-up site, and have a minimum of 5 people interested, please be in touch!
Payment & Cost: Total share price. $230
$115 deposit required to reserve a space
